MISHAWAKA - Nancy Jo Stickovich, 54, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday morning, November 4, 2008, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Nancy was born September 1, 1954, in Mishawaka, a daughter of Lewis and Goldie (Hemphill) Stickovich. She grew up in Mishawaka and graduated from Penn High School in 1972. Nancy earned her associate degree from Ball State University. Nancy was employed as an Air Export Specialist with CEVA Logistics in South Bend. She was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church. Nancy was a NASCAR fan and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. She enjoyed shopping, flower gardening and had done some traveling. Nancy loved animals and was particularly fond of her cat. Nancy's surviving family includes her parents, Lewis and Goldie Stickovich of Mishawaka; a brother, Fred (Jeannie) Stickovich of Niles; a sister, Sharon Huys of Mishawaka; nieces and nephews, Fred Stickovich, Jr., Nick Stickovich, Jennifer (Dave) Ricks, Tiffany (Ryan) Desmond, Jacki Huys, Billy (Jala) Huys, Stacey Huys and Stephanie Huys. Friends may spend time with Nancy's family on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Thallemer, Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. Third Street, Mishawaka. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Vale officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
