Mrs. Glenda Ellen Koepke, 87, of 972 Patty Lane, died at 6:45 a.m. today in the Ridgedle Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born on May 9, 1892, in Kingman, Kan., and had lived in this area most of her life. In 1910, she married Harry Molott in Knox, Ind. He died in 1914. On June 26, 1920 in Crown Point, Ind., she married Edmund Koepke, who died in 1950. Surviving are a son, Robert E. of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Olive Bennett and Mrs. Cecil Hermes, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Verna Price of Leesburg, Fla.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the Central United Methodist Church, 608 S. St. Joseph St. Rev Fred Wintle, pastor, will officiate. She was a member of the church, a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 303 and a member of the Eight and Forty Chapeaux Salon 156. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
