Funeral services for Edmond John Koepke, aged 55, of 617 South 29th Street, who died at 11:45 p.m., Saturday after a heart attack in his home, will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hollis Chapel. Rev. Theodore Kleinhans, pastor of Emmaus Lutheran Church, will officiate in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Mr. Koepke was born in Chicago Jan. 9. 1895 and came here 25 years ago from that city. He was married in Crown Point, Ind., 30 years ago to Glenda Hudson, who survives him. He leaves also his mother, Mrs. Mary Koepke, of Chicago; a son, Robert, of South Bend; a stepson, Glenn Malott, of Mishawaka, and two sisters, Mrs. Olga Malott, of Gary, Ind., and Mrs. Ruth Peloza, of Chicago.
He was a member of American Legion post #303 and of the 40 & 8 Chateau. Members of the legion post will conduct military rites at the grave.
