SOUTH BEND - Theresa Mary Nyers, 76, passed away of natural causes on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Covenant Hospice, Panama City, Florida. She was born on Oct 14, 1937, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Robert and Theresa Osborn. On May 11, 1963, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in South Bend, she married Louis Joseph Nyers. Theresa was preceded in death by her late husband, Louis, and her sister, Sophie Osborn. Survivors of Theresa are her children, Christopher (Karen) Nyers of Cary N.C., and Elizabeth (James) Gordon of Panama City, Florida. She retired from the South Bend Credit Bureau after 30 years. She was a lifetime member of St Judes Catholic Church. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Jude's Catholic Church on Sunday, Sept 14, 2014, time to be determined.
