Mrs Catherine Nowostawski age 66 of 1518 West Fisherdied at 4:45 am today in St Joseph Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Born in Poland 4/22/1880 she came to South Bend from that country 48 years ago (1899). In 1899 she was married in Poland to Stanley Nowostawski who survives. Also surviving are four sons Frank, Walter, Edward and Joseph Nowostawski, two daughters Mrs. Pearl (Stanley) Jackowiak and Lillian Klaybor. Friends may call at the home after 1:00 pm Friday. The Memorial will be at 9:00 am Monday at St Casimer Church, the Rev Casimir Witucki will preside, burial will follow at St Josephs Polish Cemetery. Mrs Nowastawski was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and the Womens Society of Adoration, both of St Casimirs Church.
