William H. Rankin

William H. Rankin, 546 W. 15th St., Mishawaka, died at 4:35 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. He had been ill six months. He was born in New Albany, Ind., March 23, 1901. Mr. Rankin lived all his life in the South Bend area. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Valentino Fonscca, with whom he lived; Mrs. Joan Williams of Indianapolis; Mrs. Betty Lou Holland, Plymouth, Ind., and Miss Carol Rankin, Columbus, Ind.; two grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Myers, Bremen, Ind.; Mrs. Fayetta McKesson, Elkhart, Ind.; Mrs. Martha Nitcher, Oceanside, Calif., and Mrs. Florence Barker, Monticello, Ind., and two brothers, George, of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Oliver C., of South Bend.Friends may call in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday until services there at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Rev. Nelson Hinman of the South Bend Gospel Tabernacle Church will officiate. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
