OSCEOLA, IN - John Mark Schmanski, age 60, residing in Osceola, Indiana passed away at 2:58 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. John was born on February 17, 1958 in South Bend to John Schmanski and Frances (Nave) Schmanski and has been a lifelong resident of this area. John was the owner and operator of Right on Time Auto Glass in Osceola. On August 11, 1984 in South Bend, he was united in marriage to Carol (Cressy) Schmanski, who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Kimberly M. (Thomas) Kurtz of Osceola; sons, John (Ayako) Schmanski of Hotaka, Japan and Michael (Michelle) Schmanski of Edwardsburg, MI; one granddaughter, Frances; his mother, Frances Schmanski of South Bend; three sisters, Mary (Bradley) Niedbalski of South Bend, Jennifer (Mike) Dolphin of Park Ridge, IL, and Amy (Charles) Crennell of Edwardsburg, MI; and his brother, Joseph (Gloria) Schmanski of Osceola. He was preceded in death by his father, John Schmanksi. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend and concluding with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.
