SOUTH BEND - John Vittorie, 66, of Marion, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died Sunday morning in Marion General Hospital. He retired in 1948 as a railroad worker. He was born Jan. 19, 1925 in South Bend, where he lived most of his life. He is survived by a sister, Rosemary Maio of Indianapolis; and two brothers, Joseph N. of South Bend and Frank S. of Indianapolis. He was a veteran of World War II. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Welsheimer Funeral Chapel North. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at the funeral home.
