COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY - 10/18/2011 -DAVENPORT, Hilda H., 83, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 surrounded by family. She was born July 21, 1928 in South Bend, IN to the late Frank and Mary Adamczak and was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. She was a former Office Administrator for Marlo Cook's Office and a homemaker, having raised five children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Cecil Davenport; son, Bruce and her brother, Stanley Adamczak. She is survived by her children, Victor Davenport (Laura Spaulding), Mary Jo Emerick (Rick), Barbara Frederick (Paul) and Kathleen Cummins (Kevin). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Shaugn Emerick (Melissa), Zeb and J.D. Emerick, Anna and Shelby Frederick and Andrew Cummins; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Emma Davenport and her two sisters, Catherine Murphy and Joan Binicki. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 21 at St. Albert the Great, 1395 Girard Drive followed by burial in Middletown Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
