101, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. Juliet was born October 11, 1916 in Wabash, Indiana to Laura and Alva Philipy. A graduate of Wabash High School, Juliet moved to Phoenix, Arizona. There she studied accounting and became Secretary to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and later Fiscal Supervisor in the Comptroller's Office at Luke Air Force Base. It was there she met Earl Dean Duncan with the Army Air Corps, whom she married in Selma, Alabama in 1942. Juliet is predeceased by husband, Colonel Earl Dean Duncan; her parents, Laura and Alva Philipy; her brothers, Thomas and Richard Philipy and sister, Virginia Swartz. She is survived by daughters, Patricia Hansell and Deborah Morina (Michael); grandson, Frank Piechorowski (Kirma); and granddaughters, Devon Brugh (Chuck), Lauren Morina, and Amy Morina. Arrangements entrusted to Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, Florida 33618. Private interment.
