NEW CARLISLE - Casimer "Casey" Kush, Jr. 71, of New Carlisle passed away at his home. Casey was born February 4, 1943 in New Carlisle, Indiana to Casimer Sr. and Regina (Kopczynski) Kush. Casey leaves behind three children, Tracey (Robert) Riedstra of LaPorte, Kellie (Jody) Gray of LaPorte, and Kristofer (Amy) Kush of South Bend; three grandchildren, Chyenne Rood, Kendyl and Briley Kush; one brother, John Kush of Placenta, CA; four nephews, Scott Kush of Redwood City, Nick Kush of San Diego, CA., Jonathan Lloyd of New Carlisle and Jeff (Donna) Lloyd, Conroe, TX; one niece, Jennifer (Jay) Lenard of South Bend; and several great nieces and nephews. Casey retired July 31, 2008 from the Town of New Carlisle after 26 years of service. Casey honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War; and he was a member of the New Carlisle American Legion Post #297. He enjoyed going the local and state fairs, attending auctions and flea markets. Most of all, Casey enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Gathering for Casey will be 5:00 pm EST to 7:00 pm EST, Friday, February 6, 2015 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 7:00 pm EST.
