LAGRANGE - Robert H. “Dige” DiGirolamo, 81, of LaGrange, IN died Friday, January 6, 2017 at his home. Mr. DiGirolamo was born on June 16, 1935 in Mishawaka, IN to Maurice and Fernanda E. (Raggi) DiGirolamo. Living in LaGrange County for many years, he was the former owner and operator of R & L Materials in Howe, IN. Mr. DiGirolamo was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in LaGrange, IN and the LaGrange County SWCD Board. On December 21, 1954 in Angola, IN he married Lavonne M. Eddy; Mrs. DiGirolamo survives in LaGrange. Also surviving are two daughters, Sherri DiGirolamo of Lansing, MI and Diane DiGirolamo of Manning, SC; a son, John E. DiGirolamo of Mentone, IN, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His parents and a brother, John DiGann preceded him in death. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN. The Rev. Kenneth Weaver will officiate the services. Burial will take place at Violett Cemetery in Goshen, IN. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 4-7 pm at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN and Wednesday from 9-10 am at the church prior to services. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in LaGrange.
