Marie Elaine Dorn, 73, of Lakeville, IN passed away at 4:12 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1941 in South Bend, IN to Nicholas and Dorothy (Martynowicz) Rodick. On March 16, 1968 in South Bend, IN she married Edward Dorn who survives.
Mrs. Dorn is also survived by her daughter, Kristie Dorn of Arlington, TX; son, Christopher Dorn of Lakeville, IN; two stepdaughters, Shirley (John) Lace of Rochester, IN and Donna Dorn of VA; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Michael), Heather, Lindsey, Andrew, Paige, Gina, Michael, Christopher and Robert; two great grandchildren, Alexis Noel and Rylee Ann; three sisters, Patricia (Barry) Mead, Catherine (Joseph) Przybysz and Brenda "Benji" (Mark) McCammon and two brothers, Michael Rodick and David (Cindy) Rodick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Dorothy and her siblings, Nicholas Rodick Jr., Barbara Zwierzynski, Thomas Rodick and Richard Rodick. Mrs. Dorn was a lifelong area resident. She retired from Logan Center after eighteen years of service as a group home manager. A Private graveside service will be held at Porter Rae Cemetery, North Liberty, IN. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville is assisting the family.
