Donald J. Voorhies, 92, of South Bend, passed away on Friday May 13, 2022 at the Milton Home, South Bend. He was born on February 22, 1930, in Fort Wayne, IN. He is survived by his wife, Joan Bukowski of South Bend, three daughters, one son, a step-daughter, Luann (William) Oppenheim and a step-son, Jack Bukowski, both of South Bend, a sister, Barbara Ehle of Fort Wayne, IN, four grandchildren, Cara (Scott) Barnes, Daniel (Jamie) Oppenheim, Kelly (Tim) Hawkins and Jared Bukowski and by six great-grandchildren, Megan and Will Barnes, Riley, Brady and Ben Oppenheim, Georgeanna Hawkins. Donald worked as bread delivery man for Butternut Bread. He was a United States Army Veteran. Don was a beloved father and grandfather and will be missed by all!
