Gregory D. Toth, 65, residing in Mishawaka, passed away at 5:10 pm Monday, May 16, 2022, in his home. He was born July 12, 1956, in South Bend to the late Dr. Joseph A. and Helen T. (Kobek) Toth and remained a lifelong area resident. Greg was a 1970 graduate of Cathedral School of St. Matthew and a 1974 graduate of Marian High School before graduating from IUSB in 1978. He went on to be a 1986 graduate of the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, AL. He further earned a Proctor in Admiralty Certificate as well as a Public Policy and Administration Certificate before earning a master's degree in 1980 in Public Affairs. Greg worked for attorney Paul Kusbach before becoming a partner in the Heppenheimer, Korpal and Toth law firm. He retired as Dean from ITT Technical Institute. Greg is survived by his sons, Matthew Gregory Toth of South Bend and Graham David Toth of Santa Monica, CA; his significant other, Linda Squadroni of Mishawaka; his former wife and mother of his children, Bobbie Toth of South Bend; as well as sisters, Helen Moore of Mishawaka, Karen (Mark) Evans of McCall, ID, Terry T. (David) Carroll of Vandalia, MI, Ann (Charles) Kesmodel of Noblesville, and Dr. Paula (Michael) Toth-Russell of South Bend; and one brother, John (Carol) Toth of Boise, ID. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Michael Toth. Greg offered wonderful care and service to his family, especially to his parents while they were ill. Greg was an avid golfer and loved spending time at Birch Lake. He dearly loved his boys and will be missed by all who knew him. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, May 20, 2022, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN. The mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed at the website: queenofpeace.cc. Graveside services and inurnment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, May 19, 2022, in the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN, where a rosary will be recited at 6:45 pm. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Greg may be donated to the Salvation Army Kroc Center, 900 W. Western Avenue, South Bend, IN 46601 or to the River Bend Cancer Services, 3516 E.
