NEW BUFFALO - Edward Olszewski, 90, of New Buffalo, MI, formerly of Stevensville, MI passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at his home. Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph with V. Rev. Robert Creagan officiating. Edward was born June 30, 1927 in South Bend, IN to Joseph & Victoria (Rembleske) Olszewski. He graduated from Washington High School in South Bend, IN. He then served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. On June 30, 1957 he married Wanda Lipinski in South Bend, IN. Edward worked in the Public Schools in the maintenance department. Edward is survived by his wife, Wanda Olszewski; sons, David Olszewski and Steven (Lisa) Olszewski; and and daughters, Jennifer & Amanda Olszewski. Edward was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Josephine and Frances. Published in South Bend Tribune on Dec. 31, 2017
