MISHAWAKA, IN - Jack Balint, 82, passed away at home on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Jack was born on April 30, 1938, to the late Michael and Irene (Hancz) Balint. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Balint. On June 27, 1959, Jack married the former Mary Hoffman who survives. Also surviving Jack are his sons, Timothy (Angie Neal) Balint, Tom (Lisa) Balint, and Edward (Sandy) Balint; sister, Marcia (Jerry) Kizer; grandchildren, Mindy Balint, Nathan (Allie) Balint, Elisha (Brandon) Anderson, Aaron (Nikki) Balint, Kahli Lorenz, Alex, Audrey, and Andrew Balint, and 17 great-grandchildren. In 1968, Jack founded the company, Advantage Materials Handling Group and was the proud owner for 53 years. In his spare time, Jack loved to fish, ride his Kubota Tractor, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Visitation will be 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN with Military Honors at 7:00 pm. Services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with visitation for one hour prior.
