She was an enthusiastic participant in any social activity which came her way. She had a zest for life and a smile to match. As a young woman she enjoyed running, horseback riding, and bowling. Later in life she became an avid walker, golfer, and euchre player. Helene's greatest pride was her role as a wife and mother. She loved to cook, bake, can, sew, and garden. Spending time with her family and grandchildren was a source of great joy. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret's House. To send online condolences, please visit Kaniewski.com.
