Our dear Sister Mary David passed away on Sunday, July 21, and her funeral Mass was today. Sister Mary David served primarily in our healthcare apostolate as a nurse and then in pastoral care. Sister witnessed God's goodness by her gentleness and kindness and taught us to thank God in everything, repeating "Blessed be God forever" even as she suffered greatly. May she now rejoice for all eternity in the presence of her Spouse whom she so faithfully served for seventy years in religious life.
