Rose Chodzinski, 79, of South Bend, passed away at 8:15pm on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, following an illness. She was born in La Porte, Indiana on November 15th, 1941 to Albert and Rose Chodzinski who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her brothers Theodore (Teddy) and Richard. She is survived by: sisters Hildegard Brown, Dorothy Borlik; brothers Albert, Jr, James; and 3 nieces, 4 nephews and several great nieces. Rose was a homemaker whose hobby was Crocheting. Over the years, she crocheted 694 children's blankets and lap robes for Helping Hands in addition to many other projects. She was a member of St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in South Bend.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 at 10:00am. Friends will be received one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Wednesday. There will be a committal service at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend following the Mass on Wednesday. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Gary, Marie, Christine and Linda in addition to the numerous Hospice workers and medical staff that have helped Rose.
