SOUTH BEND - Dolores Biber passed away peacefully on September 7, 2010, with her family at her side. Born October 4, 1926, to Wanda and Ike Paskiet, she was raised in South Bend, Indiana, where she graduated from South Bend Central High in 1945 and married her beloved husband, Robert, in 1947. For a number of years Dolores worked at the South Bend Toy Company. In 1970 Bob retired from the South Bend Police Department, and the couple joined their children in California to start a new chapter of their life in Burbank. Dolores is survived by her husband; daughter, Linda Biber of Creston CA; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sharon Biber of Greenbrae, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Irmgard Paskiet of Sarasota, Florida; brother, Donald Paskiet of Covina, California; brother-in-law, John Deren of South Bend, Indiana; granddaughters, Katherine and Julia Biber; and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Loretta Deren. Dolores is celebrated for her beauty, loving generosity, keen wit, active curiosity and natural intelligence. Above all, she is remembered as the consummate wife and mother.
