Watching deer and turkey roam in his fields was one of his favorite past times. He cherished his home and land. Hunting, fishing and farming was in his blood. Most of all, we will miss his ever presence in our everyday life. His warm smile and strength were always heartfelt. His hospitality was always generous. He will be abundantly missed. Memorial contributions may be directed to the humane society of choice in memory of Joe. Published in South Bend Tribune on Jun. 25, 2018.
