SOUTH BEND - Frank A. Toth, 73, passed away at 2:55 pm Saturday, May 11, 2013, in his residence. Frank was born December 22, 1939, in Mishawaka, to the late Frank and Rachel (Lootens) Toth. Frank was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ramona Lute and Rebecca Toth. On November 18, 1961, in Fayetteville, NC, while serving in the United States Army, Frank married Carole (Gundeck) Toth, who survives. Frank is also survived by his daughters, Julie (Kent) Haverstock of South Bend, Jo Ann (Gerry) Mott of Mishawaka; sons, Frank (Traci) Toth Jr. of Niles, John (Maria) Toth of South Bend, Michael (Amy) Toth of Mishawaka; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; brothers, Wayne (Janet) Toth of Lakeville and Jerry Toth of South Bend. Frank served his country in the United States Army; he retired from ANR Freight Lines after 30 years of service; and after retiring he worked for South Bend Chocolate Company, a job he really enjoyed. Frank also enjoyed cutting his grass, taking walks with his dogs and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was also an avid Notre Dame, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tiger's fan. Visitation for Frank will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a funeral service will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 16, 2013, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pet Refuge, 2300 W. 6th.
