SOUTH BEND - Clementine A. Mroczkiewicz, 97, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009, in the Sanctuary of St. Joseph's, South Bend. She was born on December 18, 1911, in South Bend, to the late Casimir and Anna (Hes) Klosinski, and was a lifelong area resident. On November 3, 1934, she married Clement Mroczkiewicz, who preceded her in death on May 26, 1995. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Rosanne) Mroczkiewicz of South Bend; her granddaughter, Ferris (Jacob) Hamman of South Bend; and a great-granddaughter, Christine Hamman. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Buczynski, and a brother, Casimir Klosinski. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Church, and enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009, in Holy Family Catholic Church, with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
