SOUTH BEND - Donald H. Ciesiolka, 76, of South Bend, IN, passed away suddenly at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014, at his home. Don was born August 1, 1938, to Harry and Lillian (Cichocki) Ciesiolka. He had been employed as a Financial Analyst with Clark Equipment Company and AM General. Don retired in 1994 from Clark Equipment and in 2010 from AM General. On November 10, 1962, in St. Casimir's Church, he married Judith "Judy" Ranschaert, who survives. Also surviving are his two children, Jill (Greg) Sutton of Allen, Texas, and John Ciesiolka of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Aeden, Reid, Maeve, Avery and Brodie; a sister, Elaine Foster; and niece, Laurie Foster of South Bend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, in Corpus Christi Church. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery, where members of the American Legion Post #284 will conduct Military Services. A visitation will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. Monday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a combined Parish and St. Casimir Married Men's Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Don was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Church, a member of the St. Casimir's Married Men's Club and the Whispering Pines Golf Club. Don served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards, dancing, crossword and Sudoku puzzles, spending summers at his cottage at Indian Lake and with his grandchildren.
