SOUTH BEND - Wanda L. Woltman, 92, passed away at 2:30 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Golden Living Nursing Home. Wanda was born November 15, 1920 in South Bend to the late Ignaius and Pauline (Bysewski) Splawski. On August 30, 1947 Wanda married Eugene Woltman. He preceded her in death. Wanda is also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Woltman; brother, Edwin Splawski; and sisters, Gean Balon, Joan Wood, and Bernice Bolt. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley A. (Randy) Hab of South Bend; granddaughters, Kristin (Bobby) Waite and Lindsey Hab of South Bend, & Amy (Todd) Evard of Mishawaka; grandson, Paul (Nicole) Woltman of Brookfield Wisconsin; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua & Isabella Evard. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Sandy Woltman of Mishawaka. Wanda retired from the Ireland Road Kmart after 18 1/2 years of service. She was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church and a member of the Rosary Society for 50 years. Wanda was an active member of the American Legion Post #357, a member of St. Adalbert's, St. Stanislaus, Holy Cross, and St. Patrick Harvest House, and a member of the Golden Cluster. Wanda enjoyed walking and being outside, spending time with friends, reading and playing Bingo. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Foundation, 922 E. Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN 46617. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
