SOUTH BEND - Ronald F. Gadacz, 85, of South Bend passed away on Saturday, January 6 at Sprenger Health Care of Mishawaka.He was born on January 21, 1932 in South Bend to the late Joseph F. and Elizabeth (Podemski) Gadacz.On January 15, 1965 in South Bend, he married Beverly J. Bella who preceded him in death on June 19, 1996. Ron is survived by his children, Kathryn E. (Lawrence) Bojczyk of Gaithersburg, MD, Christopher Z. Gadacz of South Bend, and Jeffery J. Gadacz of Birmingham, MI; and one granddaughter, Anya E. Bojczyk. He was Owner of the Bev-Ron Drapery Company in South Bend for many years. Ron was member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, South Bend. Ron enjoyed all sports, especially watching NASCAR, and he was an avid Notre Dame fan.Per Ron's wishes there will be no visitation or services; cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311; Shriners Hospital for Children Chicago Unit, 2211 North Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707-3392; or The Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
