Mary Peczkowski

SOUTH BEND - Mary (Strzelecki) Peczkowski, 94, of Transitional Health Services, formerly of South Bendix Drive, South Bend, died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday in Transitional Health Services of South Bend, Ind.
Mrs. Peczkowski was born July 12, 1902 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. She was an employee of the former Wilson Bros.
She was married Nov. 8, 1921, as Mary Harmacinski, to John Strzelecki who died Jan. 18, 1936. On Jan. 23, 1937, she married Lucian Peczkowski who died on July 18, 1960.
She is survived by three sons, Harry (Rita) Strzelecki, Ben (Alice) Strzelecki, both of South Bend and Arthur (Martha) Strzelecki, of Mishawaka; three stepsons, Joseph (Betty) Peczkowski of Granger, Robert (Virginia) Peczkowski of South Bend and Thomas (Lorraine) Peczkowski of Hampton Bays, N.Y. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Finch of South Bend; and two brothers, Stanley Harmacinski of Mishawaka and Anthony Harmacinski of South Bend. A son, John Strzelecki, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, South Bend, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mrs. Peczkowski was an honorary member of the Holy Rosary Society of St. Adalbert Church.
