[N19004] David L. Blosser
June 2, 1929 - March 7, 2014
SOUTH BEND - David L. Blosser, born in June of 1929, left us on March 7, 2014. He was a wonderful husband and father and a World War II veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of St. Anthony's Church for 56 years and a choir member for 30 years. He retired from Trans Tech as an electrician. David loved Notre Dame football and watching the Cubs baseball team. He looked forward to his trips to Florida to visit family and to go fishing, and en-joyed many years of playing cards with friends at what they called Club Night. Most of all, he loved many walks with his wife of 61 years, Betty, and raising three wonderful children. His kindness, smile and laughter will be missed but not forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his three chil-dren, Cheryl, Karen and Terry; his six grandchil-dren, Derek, Kaylee, Lau-ren, Evan, Wayne and David; his two great-grandchildren, Isabel and Lily; and his sister, Claudeen. Preceding his passing were his father, Ora Blosser, and mother, Bernice Blosser. He was laid to rest Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may donate in his honor to Center for Hospice Care at www.centerforhospice.org and/or Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org/Donate. The family would like to thank the staff at the Center of Hospice Care for the remarkable service they provide.
