SOUTH BEND - Virginia S. Pejza, 90, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 in her home. Virginia was born August 8, 1924 in South Bend to the late Jacob and Stella (Mroz) Wroblewski. On May 14, 1949 in South Bend Virginia married Norbert Pejza; he preceded her in death on January 11, 2011. Virginia is also preceded in death by a son, William Pejza. Survivors of Virginia include her sons, Robert (Cheryl) Pejza of Lydick and Jack (Julie) Pejza of South Bend; grandchildren, Steve, Nick, and Tim (Juliann); great- grandson, Raylan; step- grandsons, Troy (Carrie) and Travis (Heather); step-great-grandchildren, Brooke, Bria and Carter; and brother, Richard (Lucille) Wroblewski. Virginia was a 1942 graduate of South Bend Central. Norbert & Virginia enjoyed traveling and visited 48 of the 50 states. Things that gave her pleasure in life were her deep faith and family. She enjoyed all the holidays and family get togethers. Virginia was very active in St. Casimir's Senior Club, Rosary Society, Choir, Michiana Polka Singers and "53" Club. Visitation for Virginia will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 15, 2015 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated 10:00 am at the funeral home with visitation 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday, October 16, 2014. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. A special thanks to the Heartland Hospice and Staff, Real Services, Teresa and Tina and other neighbors for all their help. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 826 W. Edison Rd., Mishawaka, IN, 46545. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
