Rita C. Muttschall, age 74, departed this life on Saturday, July 14, 2007.
Rita Celia Gorski was born on November 12, 1932, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Jerome and Eleanor (Wlodarek) Gorski. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Charles Muttschall on July 22, 1952 and to this union was born five children. Rita attended the Church of the Nazarene in Fenton, MO for the past fifteen months. She was deeply loved by her family, church family and friends and will be sorely missed.
Rita is survived by her children: Lorna Lingwai of Genoa, IL, Steven (Lynn) Muttschall of North Aurora, IL, Kevin (Elizabeth) Muttschall of High Ridge, MO, and Joseph Muttschall of Des Plaines, IL; her grandchildren: Ginnifer Daugherty, Casey Lingwai, Allen Mroz, Kyle Muttschall, Trisha DeFoggi, Brian Muttschall and Isaac Muttschall; her great grandchildren: Tyler Daugherty, Geordan Daugherty, and Tyler Mroz; her sisters: JoAnn Roberts of Solon Springs, WI, Victoria Piecuch of Hayward, WI, and Gloria Brown of Inver Grove Heights, MN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence; her son Peter Muttschall; three brothers: Raymond, Donald, and Michael Gorski; and her sister Dorothy Olaf.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19th, at the Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
