SOUTH BEND - David M. Tobolski, 50, passed away January 4, 2017, in his home. David was born October 12, 1966, in South Bend, to Daniel and Rose (Kizinger) Tobolski. David was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Laura Tobolski. He is survived by a nephew, Kyle Lubelski. David graduated from Marion High School, then earned a college degree in the financial industry. He began his career at Teachers Credit Union, then went to work for Merrill Lynch in South Bend. David worked in a few different states for Merrill Lynch until arriving at the Palm Springs, CA, office, which became his favorite location. This is where he rose in his career to become an Administrative Manager, VP until retiring in 2009. David has left his estate to help others by sponsoring many different charities. He had many friends and will be greatly missed. A special thank you to his faithful caregiver, Annie Bridges, for the dedicated kindness and care she provided for David in his final years. Per David's wishes, no services will be held. He would like everyone to remember him as the fun, energetic, outgoing person he was.
