Elizabeth (Betty) Mittiga passed away on August 28, 2021 at the age of 95, in Hamilton, Ohio. Betty lived a long happy life and was surrounded by love when she passed. Betty graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1944, followed by a 40-year career as a personal assistant to the President of the I&M Electric Company. As much as Betty enjoyed her career, she enjoyed being with family, playing cards, volunteering with the St Joseph Regional Medical for over 34 years and being a part of the Mishawaka DiLoreto Club. Betty was one of four children. She is survived by her sister, Joan O'Neil of Mishawaka, her brother Frank (Sonny) Mittiga formerly of Mishawaka and sister-in-law Lois Mittiga formerly of Mishawaka. She is also survived 14 Nieces and Nephews and 18 Great Nieces and Nephews and one Great-Great Niece. Betty is preceded in death by her parents Giuseppe (Joseph) and Dominica (Minnie) Mittiga, her sister Rose Marando, brothers-in-law, Don Marando and William O'Neil and her great nephew Andrew Rowland. Betty will be honored Saturday, September 11, 2021 with a visitation from 11am-1pm at St Monica Church located at 222 W Mishawaka Ave, Mishawaka, IN. Mass will be held at 1:00 pm followed by a service at Fairview Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Betty's name to either of the following charities:
