From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE:

Stanley Banicki, 59, of 1517 W. Fisher St., was dead on arrival at 9:41 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in South Bend April 29, 1906, and was an employee of the Oliver Corp. He was married Nov. 13, 1959 to Joan Adamczak, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Leo and Steven Banicki, both of South Bend; three daughters (sisters), Mrs. Carrie Dobrucki, Mrs. Mary Maciulski, and Mrs. Helen Kajzer, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Casimir's Catholic Church with Rev. George Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He was a member of the Polish American Civic and Social Club and the Breezers Club. He was a veteran of World War II.
