Andrew C. Wawrzyniak, 61, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Andrew was born in South Bend, to the late Frederick and Rose Marie "Jingles" (Moyer) Wawrzyniak. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Katherine Jones; and a nephew, C. Michael Wawrzyniak Jr. He is survived by his brothers, C. Michael Wawrzyniak & Robert F. Wawrzyniak; brother-in-law, Dwight Jones; nephew, James (Veronica) Riggs; nieces, Audra (Scot) Moniz, Rosa Wawrzyniak, Rebecca Blackburn; great-nieces and nephews, Joann (Dexter) West, Jerry (Hailey) Villarreal, Elijah Riggs, Christopher Tuveson, Sophie Tuveson, Natalie Tuveson, Sam Moniz, Emma Moniz, Marc Wawrzyniak, Kelynda Wawrzyniak, Mateo Wawrzyniak, Michael Jose Zuniga, Isiah Zuniga and Jacob Blackburn; and a special cousin, that was like a second sister to him, Becky Darr. Andrew was an avid car and car show enthusiast. He loved his 55 Chevy Bel AIR. He also liked collecting vinyl records, going to bonfires, and watching firework shows. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could hanging out with his many friends from his neighborhood of DOG PATCH. On behalf of Andrews family, we would like to thank the tight knit community of the DOG PATCH neighborhood. The love and support from Andrew’s many friends have been a blessing. Per Andrew's wishes he will be cremated, and the family would like to invite you to a celebration of his life on Saturday, January 15 from 11 am-1 pm at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka with a funeral service being at 1 pm. After which the family would like to invite everyone to a dinner to be held at Michiana Walleye Association club house at 13040 Day Rd. Mishawaka, in. 46545. Andrew will be laid to rest in Riverview Cemetery at a date to be determined later.
