Born 31 Jul 1910; died 6 Jan 1996 age 86 of West Thomas at 11:10 a.m. Monday in Hospice House, Roseland IN. She was a lifelong area resident. Services in St Stephen's Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cemetery. On 1 Aug 1927 as Bernice H Mezykowski she married Leo M Ewald who died in 1977. Surviving are 4 daughters: Mrs Helen Bogunia of SBd, Mrs Theres Arelt of Mishawaka, Mrs Joanne Cwik of MIshawaka and Mrs Esther Enoch of Catlin Ill; a son Daniel of SBd, 16 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; three brothers Alex Mezykowski of Mishawaka, Frank and Casimir of So Bend.
