MISHAWAKA - Nancy J. Jedrzejewski, 82, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Heritage Point Assisted Living. Nancy was born on July 14, 1935 in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Clifford and Lillie (Myers) Weintraub. On November 13, 1971, she married Eugene H. Jedrzejewski, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2006. Nancy is survived by two daughters, Kim Green of Granger, Indiana and Tami Jo (Lewie Marcotte) Green of Osceola, Indiana; one son, Michael (Becky) Green of Three Rivers, Michigan; two stepdaughters, Marge (Peter) O'Connor of North Royalton, Ohio and Debbie (Lee) Schmidt of Mishawaka, Indiana; one stepson, Randy (Ginny) Jedrzejewski of Clinton, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Michael (Vicki Niswonger) Aller, Leslie (Cam Enger) Aller, Kyle Green, Michael Green, Lauren (Anthony Hostman) O' Connor, and Krista (Brad) Holtcamp; and one great-grandchild, Haylea Jo (Jason) Baker. Nancy was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Weintraub. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, Indiana. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 in the funeral home, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Nancy deeply loved her family. She was a strong, courageous woman who could light up a room with her smile. She was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved her Frank Sinatra music. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to American Legion events. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank Heritage Point for all their loving care for Nancy.
