Granger - Sharon A. Thornburg, 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. Sharon was born January 7, 1947 in South Bend to the late Walter and Frances (Golubski) Borowski. On September 4, 1965 Sharon married her loving husband Donald Thornburg, he preceded her in death on September 27, 2018. Survivors of Sharon include her children, Ronald (Julie) Thornburg, Donald (Karen) Thornburg Jr., Stacey (Kevin) Aldridge; grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Nicholas, Jessica, Aiden, Emily and Elise; and brother, Richard (Sandy) Borowski.Sharon retired from Juday Creek Golf Course. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Sharon also enjoyed her animals and watching television. Visitation for Sharon will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, October 26, 2018 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A private family funeral service will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care or the Humane Society.
