On Feb. 10, 1903, Mary De Roose and Joseph Voorde were married by Rev. Henry J. Paanakker, C.S.C., pastor of the Sacred Heart (Belgian) Catholic Church on Thomas Street in South Bend, Indiana. The Voorde's 1910 - 1940 census records indicate they had the following children (in birth order): August, David, Edward, Lucile, and Albert.
