Veronica Skibinski, 97, of South Warren Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, in Regency Place of South Bend. She was born on Dec. 29, 1901, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. She retired from St. Mary's Convent. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church Rosary Society and the Golden Cluster Club, the Valeria A. Zell Auxiliary #146 and the Polish Women's Alliance Group #305. She was married on July 4, 1923, in South Bend, as Veronica Dolniak, to Anthony Skibinski, who died in 1951. Mrs. Skibinski is survived by her daughter, Lorraine (Daniel) Cybulski of South Bend; two grandchildren, Dennis (Carla) Cybulski and Sharon (Thomas) Yant, both of South Bend; and seven grandchildren. Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Hedwig Catholic Church with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
