Mary Monica Magiera, 98, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Mary was born August 31, 1923 in Dowagiac, to the late Joseph and Louise (Taberski) Magiera. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Joseph & Edmund Magiera; and nephews, Timothy & Michael Magiera. Left to cherish the memory of Mary is her niece, Carol (Timothy) Magiera; and her great-nieces, Angela (Aaron) Culp, Sophie & Isabella Culp. Mary was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking polish dinners, made wonderful cheese cakes, painting, was very talented in doing crafts, and enjoyed trips to Wrigley Field to watch her Cubbies play. Most of all she loved spending the holidays with her family. The family extends a sincerest thank you to Trail point Village memory care unit for the loving care given to Mary during her illness. A Graveside Service for Mary will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at St. Joseph Cemetery. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. is assisting the family.
