Services at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church; burial in Highland Cemetery. Married to Elizabeth Promintzer on 8-14-1923 at South Bend, IN., who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Erna Woltman of South Bend; a son, Theodore Birch of South Bend, four granchildren and three sisters in Austria
