ELKHART - Horst A. Apfel, 75, died Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn. Survivors include his wife, Ilse (Brautigam); two sons, Norman of Cadillac, Mich., and Karl of Highland Village, Texas; a sister, Inge Eichorn of Germany; and two brothers, Werner and Alfred, both of Germany. There will be no services. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola.
