Mrs. Lidmilla Hubeny Dies At Home Here
Death Of Anglica Street Resident Follows 3-Months' Illness; Services Saturday Morning
Mrs. Lidmilla Hubeny, a resident of Rensselaer since 1951, in which year she came here to make her home after many years of residence in Newton county and before that in Stark county, died at her home at 415 Angelica Street at 11:50 o'clock, last night. She had been in rapidly declining health for a period of three monhs as a result of a series of complications. She was the widow of Ben J. Hubeny, who passed away in 1944. Mrs. Hubeny was born in Bohemia, October 20, 1882, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Minarik, and came to America during her early life. She was married to Ben J. Hubeny at North Judson November 6, 1909. The survivers are three children, John Hubeny of East Chicago, Henry Hubeny of Lake Village and Mrs. Lidmilla Kosta of Rensselaer, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Byla of Iowa, Mrs. Antonia Hernigle of Fultonville, New York, and Mrs. Agnes Stansberry of Alvion, Iowa; and two brothers, John Minarik of Missouri and Frank Minarik of Rochester. Mrs. Hubeny was a member of St. Augustine's church of Rensselaer. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary cemetery.
