Angela "Angie" M. Brant, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Angie was born January 9, 1938 in South Bend, to Casimir and Clementine Swiatowy. Angie was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Melvin Humphrey; and sister, Joyce McNarney. Left to cherish the memory of Angie is her loving husband, John; children, Aaron (Renee) Brant, Maureen (Dan) Wozniak, Adrienne (Tom) Simpson, Mark Brant, and Corinne (Jeff) Rose; grandchildren, Aaron Jr., Melissa, Taylor, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Daniel, James, Thomas, Atticus, Beatrix; sisters, Ruth, Norma; brother, Ronald; and many dear friends from the Green Valley Community and Our Lady of the Valley Parish. Angie was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, class of 1955. Her last place of employment was at the University of Notre Dame. She was an avid volunteer, and crocheted over 50 bed sized afghans that she gifted to the Arizona Veteran’s Hospital in Tucson.Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Indiana School, 1301 N. Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57325.
