Patricia Ann Hunter, 58, of Mishawaka, passed away at her home on Wednesday April 20, 2022 after a prolonged period of declining health. She was born on August 15, 1963 in South Bend to the late Robert L. and Donna Mae (VonVoorst) Mortimore. She was married on June 23, 2001 to Jim Hunter in Dowagiac, Michigan. Patricia had worked for St. Mary’s College. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She could often be found drinking coffee at her kitchen table, watching her programs on TV. Her hobbies included visiting flea markets, auctions and gardening. She had an amazing green thumb and could grow anything. She is survived by her husband Jim Hunter; a son James Hunter; a sister Angie (Dustin) Marciniak of Niles, Michigan; and two brothers, Robert Lawrence (Deborah) Mortimore Jr. of Cassopolis, Michigan and Michael (Waynette) Mortimore of Niles Michigan. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Steve. No services are planned. Palmer Funeral Homes-Bubb Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
