Josephine (Josefa) Naumowicz, 93, of S. Brookfield Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, in her residence. She was born on July 5, 1905, in Poland, and lived in this area for fifty years, coming from Texas. She was married on Oct. 26, 1926, in Poland, as Josefa Donasewicz, to Sylvester J. Naumowicz, who preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1980. Mrs. Naumowicz is survived by two daughters, Emilia Kolesnik and Leokadia Lesniewski, both of South Bend; and by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
