===============

On July 6, 1907, Stefan Hodosi, 41, and Johanna Hodosi, 19, from Hungary, arrived at the port of New York aboard the S. S. Hain. Their departure contact was his wife, Elizabeth Hodosi. They were on their way to South Bend. Almost five months later, on Nov. 25, 1907, Elizabeth Hodosi, 33, and two children, Bela (aka William), 5, and Erzi (aka Elizabeth), 4, arrived at the port of New York aboard the S. S. Barbarossa. They were on their way to South Bend to join their husband and father, Stefan Hodosi.

According to the 1910 census record of South Bend, Steve Hodosi, a painter at a wagon works, his wife and three children were all born in Hungary. Steve had been married twice, his wife had been married once - for 16 years.

Later in 1910, Stephen's daughter Johanna married, and her marriage application indicates that she was the daughter of Stephen and Anna Graf Hodosi.

The household of Stephen and Elizabeth Hodosi in the 1930 census of South Bend includes a fourth child, John, born in Indiana since 1910. Stephen had become the proprietor of an ice cream parlor.
