SOUTH BEND - Stanley Louis Rozmarynowski, 60, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 23, in his home. Stanley was born on May 16, 1946, in Mishawaka, to the late Casimir and Rose (Skubis) Rozmarynowski. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Dennis Joel Rozmarynowski
He is survived by his brother, Richard (Patricia) Rozmarynowski; sister-in-law, Nancy Rozmarynowski; nieces and nephews, Debbie (Roger) Balderas of South Bend, Julie Rozmarynowski of Tampa, FL, Lynn (Steve) Torrijas, Stacey Rozmarynowski, Bryan (Cindy) Rozmarynowski and Lenny (Patty) Genchoff, all of South Bend. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews. Stanley served in the United States Marine Corps and received a Purple Heart while on tour in Vietnam. He was a member and past commander of VFW 9820, American Legion 357, Army-Navy Garrison, West Side Conservation Club, Bowlers Country Club, the Marine Corps League, and the DAV. He graduated from Washington High School in 1965 where he played on the 1964 NIHSC champion football team, and wrestled. He retired from South Bend Water Works in 2005.
Visitation will be today, Dec. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
