KOONTZ LAKE - Audrey Jane Gorka, 76, passed away in her home on Monday, December 31, 2012. Audrey was born September 23, 1936 in Chicago to Leo and Ada (Zimmerman) Ecker and lived in the area for 30 years, coming from Oak Lawn, IL. She was married to Ronald S. Gorka, who preceded her in death along with her parents. Survivors include one son, Greg (Yolanda) Gorka of Plymouth; one daughter, Ronda (Jerry) Seybert of Braidwood, IL; four grandchildren, Felicia, Ronald, Stephanie and Christie; and one brother, Ronald (Carol) Ecker of Turnersville, NJ. Audrey was a homemaker and a member of St. Dominic Church, Koontz Lake and an active member of the Koontz Lake Association. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. (Central Time) at St. Dominic Church, Koontz Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.
